My practice is grounded in clinical assessment, measurable goals, and treatment plans consistent with best practices and current research.

I support clients who may be referred by physicians, psychiatrists, case managers, or other mental health providers for ongoing outpatient psychotherapy, diagnostic clarity, and structured interventions aimed at improving daily functioning and overall well-being.

Treatment

Philosophy & Approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Focuses on identifying and modifying unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to distress. CBT emphasizes practical strategies, skill-building, and measurable progress.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Supports psychological flexibility by helping clients relate differently to difficult thoughts and emotions. ACT emphasizes values-based action and adaptive coping rather than symptom avoidance.

Somatic and Mindfulness-Based Practices

Incorporates body awareness and present-moment attention to support emotional regulation and stress reduction. These practices help clients recognize and respond to physiological patterns linked to anxiety and trauma.

Motivational Interviewing (MI)

A collaborative, goal-oriented approach that supports behavior change by strengthening intrinsic motivation. MI is especially useful when clients feel ambivalent or stuck around change.

Trauma-Informed Care

Treatment is grounded in safety, choice, and empowerment, with attention to how past experiences may impact current functioning. Interventions are paced carefully to support stabilization and resilience.

Narrative and Relational Therapy

Explores how personal stories, relationships, and roles shape identity and behavior. This approach helps clients reframe patterns, clarify boundaries, and develop more adaptive relational strategies.
